What you can do without sending information
The readiness checklist and first company-fit step run in your browser. A useful indicative result is available without an email address. Answers stay in page memory until you explicitly send an optional review request. Closing or reloading the page clears unsent answers.
What an inquiry contains
If you choose to request a review while intake is open, we collect your company name, role, US-company confirmation, work email and your consent confirmation. A readiness review also includes the six checklist selections, checklist version and indicative preparation outline. The broader assessment additionally asks for your name and broad record category. Optional selections describe formats, time coverage, approximate volume, rights review and restrictions. There is no file upload or open-ended dataset field.
Operator contact requests contain your email, selected request type, consent and an optional inquiry reference. They do not require company details or an assessment.
The inquiry also records a random reference, timestamp, the site page where your visit began and a broad source category such as direct, search or referral. Query parameters and external referring URLs are not stored with the inquiry.
Why we use it
The operator uses inquiry details to assess scope, respond and maintain a record of your request. The inquiry is not permission for marketing or a buyer introduction. Before any introduction, we ask you to approve the named recipient and exact fields separately.
Storage and service providers
Inquiries are sent to the operator’s business inbox over an encrypted connection. The mail provider processes the submitted information for delivery and storage. The prepared direct-mailbox route uses Google Workspace. Intake remains disabled until delivery and the processing arrangements have been verified. The operator and authorized administrators may access inquiries for review. Mail credentials are never included in browser code.
The hosting provider, Vercel, processes ordinary request information to serve and protect the website. For abuse prevention, the intake uses temporary keyed hashes derived from an IP address and email; raw IP addresses are not included in the inquiry email. Hosting infrastructure may maintain its own operational logs.
Vercel BotID checks browser challenge responses to help prevent automated form submissions. The site also checks for hidden-field submissions, expired form sessions and excessive attempts before sending email.
Functional browser storage
A session-storage entry remembers only the initial site path and broad source category for the inquiry. It ends with the browser session. The website does not include advertising tags or third-party behavioral analytics. Form names, emails and answers are not sent to analytics.
Retention and requests
Inquiries remain in the operator’s business mailbox until manually deleted. There is no automatic deletion after a fixed number of days. You can request deletion through the contact form. Deletion must cover copies in Inbox, Sent and Trash, and any optional database. A separately approved introduction may require a documented follow-up retention arrangement; the operator will explain that before sharing information. Short-lived abuse-control records are removed after their useful window.
